According to the article that botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat urinary incontinence in people with neurological conditions such as spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis.Botox also use  for reducing facial frown lines, and treating chronic migraine, certain forms of muscle stiffness, severe underarm sweating and abnormal twitches of the eyelid. The use of Botox involves injecting the drug into the bladder, relaxing the bladder. The drug’s effects last for about nine month. Botox was evaluated for this use in clinical studies involving 691 people. The most common adverse reactions included urinary tract infection and urinary retention. Doctor ‘Tod Troost’ from the Faculty of Medicine, Wake Forest University in North Carolina, said. one of the biggest advantages of Botox to their patients with botox is that there are no side effects compared with other treatment. Now the drug has been marketing by Irvine.

review article 4 :How Women Can Relieve Stress

Filed under: Uncategorized — dermawani at 8:53 am on Tuesday, August 16, 2011

I will tell about the article that I have read, the tittle is How Women Can Relieve Stress. I got this article from internet. The writer is Elizabeth Scott, M.S. This article talking about Stress in Women. The article explained  that women are generally busier and more stressed than men, they juggle more roles and are constantly rushing. Actually the University of Arizona’s School of Family and Consumer Resources had done the reseach and  took a sample of 166 married couples and had each participant maintain a daily diary over the course of 42 days, where they recorded their daily stressors. The results indeed showed that women reported a greater amount of “high distress” days and fewer distress-free days than men. The differences in levels of stressful days were due to women experiencing more onsets of “distress episodes” (having stress response triggered), rather than being more likely to continue in a distressed state from one day to the next. In other words, women didn’t hold into their stress more, they just experienced more episodes of being stressed.

Reading this article give me information that this bring gender differences in stress, eliminate what we can, alter our Perspective, have some quick stress relievers, and maintain regular stress relieving habits.

This article talking about healthy food for children health. According to the article that the best way parents can help their children nutritionally is by making sure they have a healthy breakfast. She suggests that their breakfast consists of a variety of foods, especially high-fiber and nutrient-rich whole grains, fruits, and dairy products. There are several  tips to parents on how to ensure healthy nutrition for our  child such as : use the food Guide pyramid, change is good, to beat boredom with different foods, Make it easy, and  be careful about what children drink.

In my opinion, that children who eat healthy, balanced breakfasts and lunches aren’t just more alert through out the day, they also earn better grades than those who don’t eat healthy.

Make animals to be in testing of practice for product  as cosmetic or drug is very popular now. vivisection is not an acceptable practice for a spectrum of reasons which encompass moral, scientific, economic, environmental and human factors. a.e. is widely believed to be a practice which is beneficial and many believe essential for human health, , so it can be pros and conts in many communities. I think, testing on animals should  be allowed, although it sounds very cruel. The first, to find something that relates to the treatment of humans, the researchers will conduct research trials, animal testing is essential for human survival. Without animal testing, there are no advances in medical technology. It is also used in so called ‘basic’ or ‘fundamental’ research which does not claim to be specifically targeted to a particular objective. So, only certain animals that we  made  be a research material. The second, we may not make humans as the experimental. It is related with human ethical issue.

The article is talking about music therafy. According to the article, music has a profound effect on our  body and psyche. In fact, there is  a growing field of health care known as music therapy, which uses music to heal. They find  a benefit in using music to help patients of cancer and the other deseases. Even now the  hospitals are beginning to use music and music therapy to help with pain management, to help ward off depression, to promote movement, to calm patients, to ease muscle tension and ect. There are some of effects of music, which help to explain the effectiveness of music therapy include : firstly Brain Waves. The change in brainwave activity levels that music can bring and also enable the brain to shift speeds more easily on its own as needed, which means that music can bring lasting benefits to your state of mind, even after you have  stopped listening. Secondly, State of Mind: Music can also be used to bring a more positive state of mind, helping to keep depression and anxiety at bay, Finally, Breathing and Heart Rate: With alterations in brainwaves comes changes in other bodily functions. Those governed by the autonomic nervous system, such as breathing and heart rate can also be altered by the changes music of music.

According to the result of this research, I think   therapy is an important discipline, we can also achieve benefits from music on our own. This article on music, relaxation and stress management can explain more of how music can be an especially effective tool for stress management, and can be used in dailly life.

North Sumatera has very unique culture blend, which consists of Batak, Javanese, Chinese, Indian, Minang and other minor ethnics such as Sunda and Madura. Each of them has their own speciality in providing delicious food, for example, Javanese offers locals and tourists its Javanese cuisine, and in the other hand, Chinese offers Chinese noodles which is spicy but delicious. The People in Medan look like frightening, but don’t worry, actually they’ve got polite and a good heart, so if you meet them you must have attitude, I think, it same in the other country. So what you should do if you meet them?  Firstly, you must give smile, it  shows that you are polite ,and they will not think that you are arrogant person,  secondly, you must give greeting to all of that you meet ,especially the older person  than you. It is a tradition in my city. And the last, you should wear the modestly cloth, especially, if you visite the rural area, because there are some people still primitive.   I think you will enjoy  it.

Breast-feeding for 6 Months or More Protects Against Asthma

I would like to describe my article with the tittle of Breast feeding for 6 month or more protects againts asthma. I  took this from internet . This article wrote by Mary Elizabeth Dallas .This article talking about a new reseach  at Generation R, Erasmus Medical Center in The Netherlands. It found new research   about  the  babies who are exclusively breast-fed for six months or more are less likely to develop symptoms of asthma in early childhood .

Whereas in previous studies have found a link between breast-feeding and  reduced risk of asthma for childhood, this study also found the likelyhood of developing asthma is also affected by how long a child is breast-fed, and usually they more  have a good immune and not prone to asthma attacks. For instance, children who are breast-feed for a shorter length of time, or not exclusively, are  more likely to experience asthma related symptoms by the time they are 4 years old.   It has surveyed over 5,000 children, kids who are never breastfed are up to 50 percent more likely to develop asthma. Those who are breastfed exclusively for at least four months were also found to be the least likely to develop asthmatic symptoms, but only  20 percent .

According to the result of this research  I think that the children who were fed other milk or solids in addition to breast milk during the first four months of life were also more likely to experience wheezing, shortness of breath, dry cough and persistent phlegm during the first four years of life than children who were exclusively breast-fed for their first four months. Link of duration and exclusiveness  was independent of infectious and allergic diseases associated with an inherited predisposition to them.
